Tupperware is back!

Years ago, when you say Tupperware, people automatically understand you’re referring to plastic food containers, in the same way that saying Colgate means toothpaste, Shellane refers to LPG and Kodak to pictures.

But in recent years, with the advent of newer food container brands, Tupperware seems bound to totally lose its top-of-mind recall.  Until last week when Fullerlife Direct Selling Philippines, Inc. announced it is changing its company name to Tupperware Brands Philippines and promised a stronger, more dynamic marketing thrust to sell not just Tupperware but six other brands– Colour Collection, Ivana, Playtex, Circus, and Hanes.

We will also be seeing a revival of the world-renowned Tupperware Party.

“It’s a tradition that Tupperware has long been known for. The new Tupperware Party will feature product demos, cooking lessons, exclusive deals and fun learning sessions, as we hope to train our dealers in a fun way, help them earn in a real way and provide lifestyle solutions to consumers in a purposeful way. This year, dealers can expect the most lucrative earning opportunities and incentives only from Tupperware Brands Philippines,” added Cherry McCaffrey, marketing director.

So now, if you’re almost as old as me, you can maybe expect more people to understand that when you say Tupperware, you definitely mean plastic – both in the figurative or literal sense.

Dinner with Giselle and Tongkat Ali

Attended a bloggers’ dinner with Giselle Sanchez at Fish & Co in Greenbelt 3 the other night. She and hubby Emil wanted to share the wonders of Tongkat Ali (Enduranz) which helped them conceive their second child.

First, let me say kudos to Emil for being brave and agreeing to share his experience to the public. Most men would never do such a thing. In most cases, the wives simply assume they’re  the ones with reproductive problems. But as most experts would say, going for a sperm count is actually a simple and easy procedure and doing so immediately resolves 50% of the problem.

According to Giselle, they have been trying to get pregnant for years, and even had to buy Tongkat Ali from Dubai at such exhorbitant prices. Until they found out that Enduranz is available locally at a very cheap prince -- around P20 per capsule!

Enduranz’ main ingredient is of course Tongkat Ali – it’s actually an herbal supplement that brings back the normal testosterone level of men. It can help in male infertility problems and erectile dysfunction. It is also proven that this kind of herb can produce arousal and sexual motivation.

The capsule also contains Malunggay which is known to have anti-oxidant properties and has high calcium content; Banaba which improves glucose and metabolism, and Gotu Kola is known to be an aphrodisiac because of its capabilities to enhance mental abilities, improving blood circulation, wound healing, anti-stress and works against rheumatism.

Word of warning to women though: Enduranz is FOR MEN ONLY. We thought it necessary to remind everyone of this since Giselle shared funny stories of older women approaching her to say they have been taking Enduranz!

Enduranz is available in all Mercury Drug, Watsons, and in all leading drugstores in the Philippines.
